Bayer Schering Pharma (BSP) and CIPSM signed a strategic partnership to initiate a vivid scientific exchange and to carry out joint projects in the field of protein chemistry. With this cooperation BSP and CIPSM wishes to simplify and essentially accelerate the transfer of fundamental perceptions into applications, in order to score a leading position in this international highly competitive research topics.

 

 

BASF Venture Capital GmbH and CIPSM Researcher Thomas Carell have lauchned the spin off BASECLICK GmbH in Tutzing. BASECLICK will exploit intellectual property to modify oligonucleotides using Click-Chemistry. Labelled oligonucleotides are the major ingredients of molecular diagnostic kits. Their synthesis is today cumbersome and labelling is limited to a small set of labels. Click-Chemistry broadens our ability to modify oligonucleotides. The method is reliable, simple and applicable in the broadest possible sense.
